Ingrid is a 22 year old London-based artist, born and raised in Helsinki, Finland. She is presently working on establishing herself as a recording artist by releasing a collection of heartfelt songs inspired by her story and the world around her, blending the genres of country and pop.
At the age of 20, Ingrid moved overseas to study that which she loves most - songwriting - at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.
Ingrid has always had a burning passion for singing and performing, which led to her participation in various musical events in her hometown. This quickly revealed her completely natural stage presence and incredible singing talent. From her first solo performance of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” at nine years old to being broadcast on national television with viewers around the world, Ingrid has great experience performing.
Everyone who meets her will attest to Ingrid’s infectiously bubbly personality, which, combined with her fierce passion for her craft, ensure that whenever she takes the stage, her warm, happy aura casts a spell over the audience, capturing their attention and affection as she pours out her heart with every song she sings.
Some of Ingrid’s musical inspirations are female country singers Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley Cooke, Megan Moroney and Ingrid Andress, as well as Swedish singer-songwriters Melissa Horn and Lars Winnerbäck.
‘When He’s Gone’ OUT NOW
Building on the success of her prior singles, Ingrid is now out with “When He’s Gone”, an honest, stripped-back song for anyone navigating the pain of a breakup. With vivid lyrics that capture the small but powerful steps of moving on—like washing away his scent or going out with your girlfriends— she offers a comforting reminder that heartache doesn’t have to define you. Ingrid’s writing is heavily influenced by her own life and the people closest to her.
